Créé pour la Soirée de Clôture de MPA-B 2014, « Das Ende », cette installation culinaire appelé « The Last Supper » recréait un paysage représentant la profusion d’un buffet paradisiaque.
Equipés de longues piques/fourchettes ou cuillères, les personnes devaient se nourrir entre elles, tout comme dans l’allégorie des cuillères. En résumé, seulement les personnes généreuses et acceptant de se nourrire les unes les autres survivraient au paradis, les autres étant condamnées à mourrir de faim ce qui transformerait le paradis en enfer. Les fêtards devaient donc s’entraider pour se nourrir et survivre à cette longue soirée, créant ainsi un atmosphère performatif et participatif autour de l’installation.
Created for the Closing Party of MPA-B 2014, DAS ENDE, this food installation called The Last Supper aimed to create a landscape representing the profusion of paradise’s buffets.
Equiped with long fork-spoon/spikes, people had to feed each other, referring to the biblical allegory of the long spoons. In short, only the good who accepted to help each other eating would survive in paradise, the others would be condamned to starve, paradise therefor becoming hell. The party animals had to feed each other to survive through the night, creating a performative and participative atmosphere around the installation.
En travaillant sur la diversité, les couleurs, la flamboyance, le buffet créé autour de L’Arbre Popcorn de vie était installée au milieu du magnifique cinéma muet Delphi à Berlin Weisensee.
Working on diversity, colors, flamboyance, this buffet created on a long table around the Tree of Popcorn/Life was set-up in the middle of the beautiful Delphi Stummfilmkino in Weisensee, Berlin.
